He is a rip off guy after after I had done a big job he come a charge me $150 to flash a tune I am pretty sure the reason that I didn't buy the tune from him same thing he did when I brought my own oil he over charged me instead of $50 he charged me around $80

I discovered Auto Select Tuning via online VW/Audi forums, decided to bring my VW for service(2021), they've done plenty of work on my VW, the documentation on the invoices are on point and not many shops I know adds this many notes/observation. So that puts them up to two-google stars from one, they performed RMS (rear main seal) job on my VW, months later (10-11 months) it started to leak, at this point, I was not going to drive all the way to Brampton for warranty work when they should've installed the rear main seal correctly. I took it to another VW/Audi specialized shop, this time A LOT closer to me near Toronto, they replaced the RMS and they captured an image of the previous RMS folded partially at the bottom end, I am trying to find this image but I cannot find it, I have invoices proving AST did the work on my car, I blurred out the prices for obvious reasons. They caused a double expense on my end where I had to go else where, why would I come back for warranty work when you guys couldn't install it properly the first time (2021), it leaked near the month of August of 2022, so less than one year before the RMS they installed failed... I understand this is a weak spot of all Audi 2.0T motors, but the new shop that corrected this captured an image and showed me the previous RMS installed by AST was folded, I will upload the image when I find it. I got other work done as well, comparing to other VW/Audi shops in Ontario, these guys mark up the prices of the parts (OEM or aftermarket) by a huge percentage. Even the labour rate is up there. I recommend shopping around, check rockauto and partsavatar. I personally will not be returning with my VW or Audi or any other Euro machine. The amount of inconvenience the RMS sealed caused is way too much, ubering to the shop, ubering back to work, uber back to the shop to pick up the car, it's a nightmare. Not sure why you would charge me above street price but not perform the RMS job correctly/properly using the correct tools. Even the fuel filter part was marked up close to 30% from their cost... we all have to eat. We all have to feed our families. Anyways, talk is cheap, back to work, buy or bye.

The team at AST are extremely professional and accommodating. I can say with complete assurance that they check/repair everything up to spec, are diligent with taking notes and relaying the information accurately to the customer. Last year I had a bad accident, the repairs total were quite costly, however Will helped with acquiring good budgeted parts under warranty and accommodated with the method of payment beyond what I could have expected. I drive 45mins just to get an oil change from this guys, they use state of the art equipment and cover all their bases on point. I recommend AST all the way!
