Audi Repair in Brampton, Ontario
Making Your Audi Investment Last
Whether your Audi is just out of the dealer's showroom, off a higher end used car lot, or bought from a neighbor down the block, it's in your best interest to keep it well maintained and in good repair. A solid preventive maintenance schedule will help you protect the integrity of your new car warranty. Contrary to some myths, no, you're not required to return to the dealership for every service detail as long as you indeed perform the necessary services and keep your documentation. For older models, a maintenance plan will extend the life of the automobile and help you keep it as trouble free as possible. Regardless of age, keeping up with minor repairs will often head off major problems, reducing overall expense. At Auto Select Tuning in Brampton, Ontario, we've been assisting our customers with European vehicle repairs (with one of our specializations being Audi) since 2009. You'll find us nearby at 298 Rutherford Rd S, Brampton, ON L6W 3K7. To schedule your next Audi service or repair appointment, use our online scheduler or give us a call at (905) 453-4400.
Thinking About Audi Repairs
Great Audi repair begins at Auto Select Tuning. While some smaller establishments shy away from vehicles that require specialized tools, we have dedicated ourselves to your prized Audi. We have diagnostic equipment, Torx bits, drivers, triple squares, and specialized items for locks and timing belts that not everyone routinely uses. Thus, you can be assured that we're never cutting corners or trying to "get by'' with a substandard fix for lack of proper outfitting to handle an Audi in our shop.
The manufacturer has set a recommended service schedule at 10,000-mile intervals (or one per year, whichever comes first). Minor maintenance should occur on the odd designations (10,000 miles; 30,000 miles; etc.), while standard preventive maintenance services should be performed at even intervals (20,000 miles; 40,000 miles; etc.). The lesser visit includes points such as oil/filter change, multi-point inspection, and brake inspection. These are repeated at the more extensive visit along with checks of the steering, body, lights, battery, spare tire, and even the first aid kit.
Apart from the service schedule, a number of long-time Audi owners offer additional suggestions. They recommend changing the transmission fluid if you detect a shifting problem (as an attempt to avoid major repairs); changing the power steering fluid more frequently if a great deal of your motoring is in a hot climate; and changing o-rings, seals, the snub mount, and thread locking compounds when you change the timing belt for ease of access.
